Product Applications: Solaris is a uniquely elegant, low-profile undercabinet task light that effectively illuminates any size or shape worksurface. Its sleek design makes it nearly invisible when mounted to the underside of cabinets or shelves. Ideally suited for environments such as offices, libraries, laboratories, storage areas and classrooms.
Product Description: Solaris is characterized by a slender, compact profile, tapered edge and lightweight aluminum construction. Solaris is the end-result of Luxo’s 70 years of ergonomic expertise.
Through its combination of high-polished reflectors and proprietary, glare-eliminating diffusers, Solaris yields stronger, wider light output and eliminates any unwanted glare by directing light asymmetrically across the worksurface.
Models are individually sized to house T5 or T8 fluorescent lightsources. Such design allows for the overall space inside the Solaris to be minimized so as to eliminate dark, unlit areas and to maximize light output. An exclusive cord management system allows for flexible cord positioning, meaning users can adjust the cord direction to be either left or right during installation.
Construction & Finishes: Housed in lightweight, easier-to-install and environmentally-friendly aluminum, Solaris is finished in white, sand, black or light gray. Solaris is standard with a 9’ power cord; Chicago Code Cord and Plug are optional.
Solaris is 6.26” (159mm) wide, 1.6” (41mm) deep and available in six lengths: 18.5” (470mm), 24.5” (622mm) or 36.5” (927mm) for T8 fluorescent models and 22.75” (578mm), 34.75” (883mm) or 46.5” (1181mm) for T5 fluorescent models.
